Over 100 people attended the official opening night of the new White Row Farm Shop expansion near Frome. Local celebrity author, broadcaster and loyal White Row shopper, Kevin McCloud was the guest of honour and gave a speech encouraging people to continue to shop locally. Praising owners Steve and Heather Tuckcer he said "Steve confided in me that when he started, he knew he had a fantastic location, he is of course and always has been a brilliant pig farmer, but he admitted he knew nothing at all about vegetables! It's testament to his dedication and brilliance that unlike many farm shops you come here and you do buy what is grown here, it's fantastic."
The new fish and chip shop take away will be run by fishmonger Garry Rosser, pictured here with his wife Lisa who works alongside him with their son Dan. The Scallop Shell's mission
