Abigail and Ellen's Web page

I am Abigail, I am 7 years old, my sister is Ellen and she is 6.

Our web page is about our growing, cooking and eating. This page shows what we've been up to lately.  Please see the links at the end to look at previous articles.

We are growing lots of fruit and vegetables this year.  We are already picking and eating lettuces, Ellen loves them in sandwiches, with BBQs and on their own.  We are also growing strawberries, carrots, onions, cucmbers and tomatoes.

Tea and cakes with Auntie Mary

On a wet, wet Bank Holiday Monday, Mummy's friend Mary Matthews invited us round for a good old fashioned tea party.

While the grown ups relaxed and enjoyed leaf tea, served in finest bone china, Mary helped us cook scones and make butter icing.

Mary showed us how to ice our cakes with a  piping bag and then we dipped the cakes in sprinkles and chocolate.

They looked and tasted yummy!
