Weight Watchers packs designed in Somerset

Axbridge based graphic design company Sore Thumb has been asked to give the Weight Watchers® crisps and snacks range a fresh new look. The Dormen Food Company hold the Weight Watchers licence to produce crisps and snacks at their factory in Swindon. Sore Thumb’s two partners, Sarah Sprosen and Peter Watson, were delighted when they were appointed in 2010 to handle the project. “It’s been a challenge that we’ve thoroughly enjoyed and we’re looking forward to continuing our relationship with The Dormen Food Company” said partner Sarah Sprosen.

Sore Thumb worked closely with The Dormen Food Company, Marketing Manger, Rosie Palmer, to create a look that was bright, fresh and impactful on shelf. “We wanted to create a bright, fun, modern look to the packaging to appeal to consumers. Just because someone is watching their weight it doesn’t mean they can’t have fun too and we wanted the look of the packaging to reflect this” said partner Peter Watson.

There are 15 products in the Weight Watchers crisps and snacks range including five flavours of crinkle crisps, three flavours of tortilla chips, two flavours of hoops as well as smokey bacon corn bites, tomato and basil spicy balls, cheese curls, cheese puffs and cheese bites.

The new look packaging is on the shelves now.
